George Zimmerman walks free from Trayvon Martins murder

 A US community security man, George Zimmerman, who shot dead a 17 year old black American Trayvon Martins after a fight on February 26, 2012 in Stanford Florida, has been acquitted of the crome after a five week trail. The jurist who were sequested during the trail acquited Zimmerman of second degree murder and man slaughter making him to walk free of the murder charge.

Man Kills 17 year old wife over breastfeeding

 

A woman, identified as Osarumwnse, was said to be preparing for the naming ceremony of her twins when she was allegedly killed by her husband in Oka quarters, Upper Sakponba, Benin City.

The incident is said to have occurred after a heated argument between the woman and her husband on when the woman should breastfeed the babies.

Witnesses said the couple celebrated the birth of the twins on Sunday and was preparing for the naming ceremony when the tragedy occurred.

Dame Patience Jonathan calls Prof. Wole Soyinka an embarrassment

Wife of the President, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, on Friday took on the Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, for attributing the crisis in the Rivers House of Assembly to her.

In a statement by her spokesman, Ayo Osinlu, the President’s wife said Soyinka betrayed the moral duty that expected him, as a respected member of the society, to carefully consider all shades of issues that informed his opinions on any matter.

Mrs. Jonathan said Soyinka had become an embarrassment to his admirers with his diatribe against her.
