Obama visits Nelson Mandela prison in Robben Island

 

The White House has released series of Photos (I have only one for now) of the visit of US President Barrack Obama to former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela's jail cell in Robben Island.

And the President wrote in the guest book ' On behalf of my family, we're deeply humbled to stand where men of such courage faced down injustice and refused to yield. The world is grateful for the heroesof Robben Island, who remind us that no shackles or cells can match the strenght of the human spirit,'

Such a touching word.
