President Muhammadu Buhari held a meeting with fighting members of the House of Assembly, precisely member of House of Representative but at the end of the meeting, it failed to resolve the leadership tussle among the members.
The meeting with the House of Representative lasted only 22 minutes before the president left.
It was to resolve the leadership tussle involving the house speaker, Yakubu Dogara and Femi Gbajabiamila.
It would be recalled that the emergence of Dogara has the leader of the House of Rep, has led to crisis in the National Assembly with the House having two factions , the Gbajabiamila and Dogara's factions.
The Dogara's faction has refused to allow the appointment of Gbajabiamila as the majority leader, which as further divided the house.
