Buhari writes Senate to confirm new INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu and 5 commissioners

Today,  President Mohammadu Buhari writes the Senate to confirmed the appointment of Professor Mahmood Yakubu, as the new Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC chairman and also the confirmation of five national INEC commissioners which include the former acting INEC chairman, Mrs Bala Zakari.

Professor Mahmood Yakubu, was yesterday announced as the new chairman of INEC by the federal government.
