According to Hollywoodlife, Aaron Hernandez, 23, was charged with murder on June 26, in connection with the death of Odin Lloyd, 27. Odin was allegedly murdered on June 17, after he was shot multiple times.

The former New England Patriots tight end was taken from his home in handcuffs Wednesday morning, June 26, more than a week after Boston semi-pro football player, Odin Lloyd, was found dead in a park a mile from Aaron’s house.

Upon Aaron’s arrest, he exited his home in bright orange shorts and a white t-shirt. (Strangely enough, those colors likely match what he’s wearing in jail right now.) His hands were cuffed underneath his t-shirt, suggesting that he was shirtless upon arrest.

The DA said Odin was shot with a .45 caliber semi automatic weapon, before his body was discovered, near Aaron’s Massachusetts home, on June 17, according to TMZ. They believe Aaron is connected to Odin’s death and he’s since been charged with murder.

Prosecutors reportedly said that Odin and Aaron were in contact just 10 hours before his death. Furthermore, prosecutors believe Odin recently said something to Aaron that destroyed his trust, giving Aaron a motive to kill.
