Warning graphic accident photo- LAGBUS crushes soldier to death

The sad incident occured yesterday Sept ember 23rd on Alaka/ Iponri Bridge on Rotimi Williams Road in Surulere. It was gathered that the driver of one of the busses of Lagos mass transit lost control of the bus and crashed into a late soldier, who was riding a motocycle with a female passenger.

The soldier was reported to have been dragged along the bridge by the bus and almost cut into half by the bus. The female passenger, who was riding with the soldier was thrown off the motorcycle by the impact of the collision and is said to be in a very critical conditionn before she was taken to the hospital.

An eyewitness, said the driver of the red popular bus was at a top speed, and while he got to a bad spot swerved off to avoid the bad spot but unfortunately pinned the soldier railing of the brigde. After seeing the damage, the Lagbus driver, was reported to have fled the scene.

Kaduna Speaker,Deputy and six others impeached!

After several attempts were made to remove him from office. The Kaduna House of Assembly speaker, Muazu Usman Gangara and is deputy, Daogar Mato, plus six others, have been sacked. The speaker and others that were sacked, were absent at the house proceeding today, when the impeachment was carried out. It took, 19 out of 26 of 34 members of House Assembly present who voted to impeach the speaker, deputy and the six other officers involved.

Shehu Usman Tahir was elected the new speaker while Mr. Peter Adamu the deputy.

How did you become one of late Prophet Ajanaku’s aides?

The first day I saw him, I was not attracted to him because of his physical look. He bleached. However, when my boss who was one of his church members introduced me to him, he prayed for me. My decision to visit his church was based on curiosity. That was in 2007. Sincerely, there is no way you won’t marvel at his preaching. He preached with persuasive and authoritative words.

Kenya attack update- 62 dead, 75 injured, as security forces prepares for final attack on militants

This is the third day running of one of the deadiest attack to occur in the world. As night falls, Kenyans security forces and military commandos prepares for final assualt of shopping mall, where, 30 people are still held hostage.

Kenyan security forces, including commando teams and military helicopters, launched a "final assault" on the luxury shopping mall in Nairobi where a group of armed militants were holding around 30 hostages.
As night fell in the Kenyan capital a huge blast reverberated around the Westgate mall, where the attackers – thought to be members of the Somali jihadist group al-Shabaab – had been holed up since shooting their way into the shopping centre on Saturday afternoon.
Two hours later the Kenyan defence forces tweeted that they had rescued most of the hostages and secured most of the mall. Four soldiers were reported to have been injured during the operation and taken to hospital.
