40 year old school proprietor caught having sex with 11 year old pupil

Residents of Agric Olope area of Ado Ekiti have apprehended the proprietor of a private Nursery and Primary School, who was found in a bush allegedly having sex with a pupil of his school. The incident happened on Monday after school hours.

 Our correspondent gathered on Wednesday that the proprietor, identified as Mr. Tunde Ibitoye, picked the girl and another pupil of the same school and was taking them home in his car when he stopped at a deserted place and went into the bush pretending to be defecating.
An eyewitness, who said he caught the suspect in the act, said some minutes after the man went inside the bush, he called the victim to bring him tissue to clean up.
The eyewitness, who identified himself as Kayode Ayeni, said he became curious when he saw the girl going inside the bush knowing full well that a man had first gone into the bush some minutes earlier.

Fualty plane causes stir in Igando

The resident of Igando woke up  to the sight of a small plane which was suspected to have crash landed in the early hours of this morning.

The plane which is said to be use for training or a private one landed inside Dapsey Filling Station  premises close to Olowonla Bus stop in Igando, Lagos.

People are reported to have surged to the place in large numbers taking photos of the plane.

Another report has it that the plane is faulty and was being towed by the Nigerian Avaition.

Wonder what a plane is doing in such a place, if not that it made an emergency landing to avert a crash.

Nigerian cook survives days under sea in shipwreck air bubbles

After two days trapped in freezing cold water and breathing from an air bubble in an upturned tugboat under the ocean, Harrison Okene was sure he was going to die. Then a torch light pierced the darkness.

Ship's cook Okene, 29, was on board the Jascon-4 tugboat when it capsized on May 26 due to heavy Atlantic ocean swells around 30 km (20 miles) off the coast of Nigeria, while stabilizing an oil tanker filling up at a Chevron platform.

Of the 12 people on board, divers recovered 10 dead bodies while a remaining crew member has not been found. Somehow Okene survived, breathing inside a four foot high bubble of air as it shrunk in the waters slowly rising from the ceiling of the tiny toilet and adjoining bedroom where he sought refuge, until two South African divers eventually rescued him.

Mandela responding to treatment- Zuma

South African president, Jacob Zuma has reorted that the former president and freedom fighter, Nelson Mandela is now responding to treatment after five days in the hospital.

He said that Madiba, has Mandela is fondly call by his fans has opened his eyes and can recognize people. He is also responding to the drugs that the doctors are given him.

The former president who for a while now has been in and out hospital for infections was rushed back again because of recurrence of the same problem five days ago.

Many South Africans have also been grip with fear  that the 94 year old Mandela may succumb to his illness and have been fervently praying for his recovery while family members have gathered around sick bed for days.

Former Ekiti State Gov. Ayo Fayose escapes assassination

The former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose escaped assassination attempt made on his life on Tuesday night around 9pm on Ado Ekiti- Afao Road when his car was shot by unknown gunmen.

According to report made available, the former governor was returning from Ado Ekiti to his hometown in Afao when some suspected assassins started trailing his car with a white Hilux van with a green registration number close to Fayose Housing Estate.

The driver suspecting that the van was trailing them alerted his boss who was the only occupant with him in the car.

The driver according to report immediately incerased the car's speed and when the assassins saw that they could not meet up with the car they shot at the former governors car.

They how ever turned back after in the course of the chase seeing that the governor has arrived his hometown in Afao, Ekiti State.

Fayose who has plann to contest for the governorship of Ekiti State in 2014, claimed to have received a call from someone who identified himself has Solar; a life waster, had told  Fayose to exect a tough time ahead of 2014 election. The Ex-governor however did not make much of the threat.
