it was an evening of legends at the Nigerian Idol Season 3. The last 3 standing did song together with legend in the music industry. Safeeyat did a duet with Adewale Ayuba, Debie Rise and Stella Moye deut together while Moses also did a timeless song  of Mike Okri with him.

The performance was electrifying and it going to get more tougher in the next two weeks left of the show, when a winner will emerge. As it is, Moses is the only man left standing in the competition.

Man murder age mother over indian hemp money

A 48-year-old man, Hassan Usman, has killed his 87-year-old mother for not giving him money to buy a substance suspected to be Indian hemp.The incident occurred in Giron-Masa of Ngaski local government area of Kebbi State.
Shocked residents of the community, who narrated the incident to LEADERSHIP Sunday, said Usman stabbed his mother to death for refusing to give him money to buy a stimulant which they identified as Indian hemp.
After he stabbed his mother, Hajiya Hauwa popularly known as Mama Yan Biyu, he reportedly left her in the pool of her blood and went to report his act to his late mother’s siblings in another section of the community.

The for Super Eagles goal keeper, who had a fatal accident that left him unable to walk for many years revealed that his wife contributed to how he regained back the use of his leg.
When he hadthe accident, a lot of things were said: ‘he can’t walk again, he is finished, he will be on wheelchair for life.’ Maybe if it was another woman, she would have packed out and left me to my fate. And that would have demoralised me. Maybe I wouldn’t even walk anymore. But she stood by me during my predicament and rehabilitation. She was there. She was with me in the hospital when my operation was done in Tallahassee. She was sleeping on the floor just to give me the confidence I needed. And I told her not to sleep on the floor but to sleep in the hotel and come to the hospital every morning. But she said she preferred to stay by my side rather than waste money.
