Apprentice abducts boss's son days after resumption

A 25-year-old apprentice, identified simply as Ayomide,  has allegedly kidnapped his boss’s two-year-old son  in the densely populated Ajegunle area of Lagos  barely four days after  resumption.

The abducted boy, David Sunday Ushie, was reportedly kept in the apprentice’s care by his mother, Mrs Ushie, in her fashion  designing shop  located on Saludi street, along Boundary road on September 17, 2015.

Buhari stops payment of special allowance to villas security guards

According to information, President Muhammadu Buhari has stopped the payment of a special allowance paid to security guard posted to the Presidential villa.
It is gathered that the guards were being paid a special allowance known as the Risk and Hazard allowance paid by the previous goverment. But upon the president assumption into the office a stoppage was put to the allowance.

UNILAG students protest infestation of bed bugs on their campus

There is an ongoing protest by the students of the University of Lagos State over the infestation of bed bugs in most hostels on campus. According to findings, the student came out protesting as early as 6:30 am over the unbearable pains the bed bugs have been causing them.
