Saudi bound plane makes emergency landing in Sokoto after tyre caught fire

Another terrible accident has been avoided when a Saudi bound airplane carrying 400 passengers from Kano earlier today Saturday 5th October, made an emergency landing at the Sir Abubakar III International Airport.

The plane a boeing 747 which left Kano Friday en route to Saudi Arabia had to make the emergency landing after it tyres caught flame immediately it took off the Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano.

All intended passengers have been safely evacuated and lodge in an hotel in the City while other moves have been made by the management of the Airline.

Photos from Late Agagu's burial

The late immediate governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Agagu was buried today in Akure despite the tragedy that occured yesterday, when his remains was being taken to his hometown in Ondo State. Feyi Agagu the son of the late gov. and his son -in-law survived the incident while fifteen people died.

The burial was attended by top PDP chieftains, commissioners in Ondo including present and past gov and prominent people in the society. See more after the cut
