'Why I don't discuss the paternity of my daughter-Omawumi
Music star Omawumi Megbele, Opened up to ThisDay entertainment contributor on why she does not like to talk about the paternity of her daughter
Read below
I never hid my child's paternity but I felt that since I'm not married, I don't need to come out and say this is the father of my child. He might not want that part of my life. He might just love me and my child. So I like to respect people's privacy. I also strongly feel that it is my job as a musician to entertain you and if you feel like my personal life is your business, it doesn't mean I feel the same way.

Container truck crush man, govt meat van
This is another accident caused by overzealousness of members of the Nigerian Police Force. Here is how the Punch is reporting the incident.
Tragedy struck on Thursday at Ikeja Along Bus Stop on Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Lagos State, after a heavily loaded 40-foot container truck fell on a government meat van, crushed a passerby, and wounded several others.
Eyewitnesses said the truck had swerved off the road to avoid colliding with some policemen, who were chasing a motorcycle rider, before the incident occurred around 9am.
The victim, identified as Samuel Ogunnaike, was an employee of a popular phone dealer in Computer Village, Ikeja, and was on his way to the office when he met his death.
Any hope that he could survive the accident was dashed after he was trapped for about four hours before his body was retrieved from the wreckage.
