Does this meant that singer and entertainer, Dapo Oyebanjo, better known as D'banj has realized that homemade cheese is better than what you get outside. I read a story by James Silas a publicist and entertainment business consultant, who has in the pass talked about the friendship and business empire of D'Banj and Don Jazzy.
Silas started from the angle why D'banj, who had never rub shoulders with the ..hmm, little ones in the industry now have to rub shoulders with Olamide just to get another hit, since he is yet to get another hit since Oliver Twist more than a year ago
It's left for you guys to agree or disagree with him. One thing of note was that, both D'banj and Olamide were an item at the Nigerian Entertainment Conference, held days back.
D' banj Goes down low by James Silas
Two years ago, it would have been almost impossible for
D’Banj to do a collaboration with an Olamide even if the latter had attained
this much attention with his music, but today D’Banj is struggling for another
hit since “
Oliver Twist”.
Once upon a time (October 14, 2010), I tweeted
“Partnerships can hardly work, not unless you’re a duo like Don Jazzy and
D’Banj”… this tweet was “favourited” by Don Jazzy. Then two years later
(2012), the statement returned to me – void!
