5OCents cuts off son from will after embarrassing text messages to son leaked online

 Rapper 50Cents had cut his 15 year old son Marquise off his will by rewriting his will. Reason is not unconnected with the text messages he sent to his son which leaked online and was reported by Rader Online. 50Cents blamed his son  and his mother for the embarrassment the leaked text messages has cost him. The rapper took to twitter to rant about re-writing his will ad cutting his son off.

34 year old father tortures son to death, buries him

 

A 34-year-old man, Arogundade Ahmed, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly flogging his son to death.

According to eyewitnesses, Arogundade tortured his 13-year-old son, Qudus, to death because Qudus broke into someone’s house and attempted to steal.
Arogundade was said to have killed his son in the presence of his little sister, Sherifat.

After killing the boy, Arogundade dug a grave and buried him in front of his house in Alogba Estate area of Ikorodu. (Above photo - Arogundade’s house. Circle, the grave)

Our correspondent, who visited the crime scene, learnt that the incident occurred on June 27, 2013.

It was leant that the deceased was an apprentice at a mechanic workshop in the area.

MTN staff, student shot dead by vigilante in Abeokuta

 

Tragedy struck in Abeokuta, yesterday, when men of the Vigilante Service of Ogun State, VSO, reportedly shot dead a student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Moruf Raji, 29, and a staff of a telecommunication company, MTN Nigeria, Akeem Usman, 32, while chasing suspected robbers.

The incident occurred at Adigbe, at about 1.00 a.m when a team of the vigilance service allegedly ordered residents of 18A, Sorinola Avenue, Oriyanrin, to open their gate for them to arrest suspected robbers believed to be hiding in the building. An eye witness told Vanguard News that some of the residents who were mostly students refused to open the gate, suspecting the vigilante men to be robbers trying to play smart.

29 Sudent killed: Attackers will go to hell- Presidency

 

A spokesman for President Goodluck Jonathan have said that those behind the killing of students in Yobe state “will certainly go to hell.”

Islamist extremists called Boko Haram massacred dozens of students in recent weeks in Yobe State, opening a new phase in their insurgency despite a nearly two-month-old military offensive against them.

The latest attack early Saturday saw gunmen storm a secondary boarding school in the village of Mamudo, where they rounded up students and staff in a dormitory, threw explosives and opened fire, killing 42 people, almost all of them students.

Nigerians have grown accustomed to mayhem inflicted by Islamist extremist group Boko Haram — as well as the military’s heavy-handed response — but the gruesomeness of the school massacre drew widespread disgust.A spokesman for President Goodluck Jonathan said those behind the attack “will certainly go to hell.” Military officials did not respond to requests for comment on Monday.The school shooting marks the third such attack in three weeks.

Conjoined twins delivered to jobless couple in Abuja

 

The moment of joy turned to sadness for a jobless couple, Mr. Elisha Bassey and his wife, Patience, when a set of conjoined twins was born to the family on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old resident of the Federal Capital Teritory, Abuja, who hails from Akwa Ibom State, and his 30-year-old wife, are currently at a loss.The conjoined twins were delivered at about 7 pm on July 2, 3013 at LUNA Hospital in Gwarinpa, Abuja.

Bassey said, “The babies are joined from the stomach and chest down. They have three legs joined together, one liver, one kidney and one intestine.”

The scan did earlier on while Bassy wife was pregnant did not reveal that any thing was wrong. The twins mother mother is still at the hospital and yet to recover because they were delivered through a Caesarean section. The babies have been transferred to the National hospital.
