UNILAG students protest high cost of living on campus

Since yesterday, the student of University of Lagos (Unilag) have been protesting the high cost of living on campus.

According to information gathered, the student who stage a peaceful protest claimed that things are expensive for those who stay on campus compare to those who reside outside the school.

For instance, they claimed that making photocopies in the school premises is very expensive for what should be obtain in an academic environment. Basic things such as indomie, pure water satchet, viju milk are on the high side.

A satchet of pure water is said to be sold for N10, Viju milk, pepsi, fanta, which are sold outside the school for N100 are sold for N120 and indomie small pack which is N50 is N60  and hungry man size which is N100 is N120 on the campus respectively.

The school authorities are yet to respond to the protest.
