Former President of ASUU, Festus Iyayi dies in auto accident

Dr. Festus Iyayi,Former president of the Association of Senior Staff of Universities, ASUU is dead.

Iyayi died in the early hours of this morning while he was on his way to participate's in tomorrow's National Executive Council Meeting of the Academic Staff Union of Universities. He would have been part of the body to declare an end to the 4 months old strike.

During his life time, he was a avid writer and a social and political critic. He would be greatly missed for his contribution to make Nigeria a conducive environment for all.
