Dora Akunyili, reject kutigi offer to sit to address CONFAB members

I am still at shock of the recent photos of former Director General of National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) Prof. Dora Akunyili, which shows her emaciated look. But I am further shocked at the courage she has shown by stepping out even while she still look so lean. Yes, she has said that she had fully recovered after suffering from an undisclosed illness and only need to get back to her old self. However, I know many would not be caught looking like that in public especially someone in such high standing in the country.

Well,the point is that at yesterday's sitting at the conference, Prof Dora Akunyili had stood up to address the delegates but the Chairman of the Conference, Justice Legbo Kutigi, told her to sit to address the delegates which she declined. Well, Prof Akunyili, has still got her old steam.
