86 Senators pass votes of confidence on Senate president Bukola Saraki, supporters storm National Assembly with placards


Today members of the Senate resumed back for sitting.  At the sitting 86 members passed a vote of confidence on the Senate president Bukola Saraki. The motion for the vote of confidence was moved by Senator David Umaru which was seconded by Senator Ahmed Sani.

However, outside the senate, supporters of the troubled Senate president, where seen carrying placards with various write-up around the National Assembly.
