Ooni's second in command dies at 85, burial rites commenced

Less, than 3 months that first class king the, Ooni of Ife, Oba Sijuwade Okunade joined his ancestors at a
London hospital,  his deputy, the, Obalufe of Ife, Oba Solomon Folorunsho Omisakin, has also passed away at the age of 85 years.
Though, it was earlier denied that the Obalufe was dead by palace chiefs but it was however confirmed that the king passed away yesterday at about 10:00am.

The Obalufe, who is an important king in Ife, was the head of kingmaker in Ife, so his death was a shock to many, judging that he has an important role in crowning the next, Ooni of Ife.
According to findings, the Ooni when crowned must paid a visit to the Obalufe, where, rites will be carried out at the palace of the Obalufe.
It is gathered that burial rites has already commenced for the late Obalufe, to hastened up the crowning of the a new Obalufe of Ife.
The Obalufe belong to the giesi ruling house which is one of the 4 ruling houses second to the Ooni of Ife.
