''Okorocha and wife not arrested'' - EFCC

The Economics and Financial Crimes Commission, has debunks the news making the rounds that its has arrested the former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha,  his wife, Nkechi, and some members of his family.

The economic commission claimed that there is no truth in the news that the former governor, his wife and relations identified as, Gerald Okorocha and Okey Okorocha, were arrested in Ogboko, the former governor's hometown.


In the report that was widely purblished by many news platforms, claimed that the commission also sealed Okorocha's,  Eastern Palm University in Ogboko.

EFCC, has however refuted the news calling it '' A fake news'.

Okorocha, was elected has the executive governor of Imo State in 2011 and serve a two term which ended on May 28th, 2019.
