Photos from Late Agagu's burial

The late immediate governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Agagu was buried today in Akure despite the tragedy that occured yesterday, when his remains was being taken to his hometown in Ondo State. Feyi Agagu the son of the late gov. and his son -in-law survived the incident while fifteen people died.

The burial was attended by top PDP chieftains, commissioners in Ondo including present and past gov and prominent people in the society. See more after the cut

Rueben Abati and Femi Fani Kayode trades word on twitter

To think these two are great men makes me shiver at the words they have been throwing at each other for a while now. Rueben Abati is a special adviser to the president on media matter while Femi Fani Kayode was a former minister of Aviation.

They have been at the twitter war since April and it seems to be getting worst judging by today's exchange by men that many look up to as role model.

Former Ondo State Gov. Segun Agagu buried today

Despite the sad incident that occured yesterday, in which 15 people lost their lives out of 27 on board the aircraft conveying the remains of the late immediate past governor of Ondo state, Segun Agagu, which crashed at the Lagos Airport. The family went ahead with the burial as earlier planned but tender their consolence to the families of those that lost their lovedq ones in the ill fated aircrash. A top chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Ebenezer Alabi,  said that ' We just consulted with the family and have decided to go ahead with the burial, moreso, the son of the former governor survived and the son-inlaw survived, There is n o scratch on the casket.'

Nollywood actor shot dead in Benin

 Nollywood actor, Flavian Okojie, has been shot dead by an unknown gunmen in Benin the Edo State Capital. Okojie just got married to NTA presenter Omo- Kivie Adeola three weeks ago. The National President of Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU), Nasir Fagge, has accused the federal government of not coming clean with Nigerian on the issue surrounding the ASUU strike. The National President that it is requesting for the sum of 3 trillion to turn around the state and federal universities and also to better the educational sectors.

Novelist Tom Clancy passes on

The Reowned novelist passes away yesterday night in a hospital in his hometown, where he was born. He was 66 year- old. Read how TMZ reported the story....

 Tom Clancy -- the author behind mega-hits like "The Hunt for Red October," "Patriot Games" and "Rainbow Six" -- died last night at the age of 66 ... this according to his publisher.

The details surrounding Clancy's death are limited at this point. His publisher revealed Clancy passed away at a hospital in Baltimore, the city where he was born.
