This is a sad story and I wonder why people keep giving out their children. If you can't take care of them stop having them.

“The victim (Deborah) lost her mother in 2010. Early this year, Deborah’s father was evicted from his home and he decided to send Deborah and his second child to go and stay with his brother, Vincent, until he settles down. Deborah and her nine-year-old sister were living with Vincent and his wife, Rebecca, in a one-room apartment at Powerline, Jankara, Ijaiye Ojokoro. However, Rebecca was always maltreating the two children.”

According to police investigations, on the day of the incident, Deborah woke up around 5.30am with a high temperature.
The three-year-old girl was said to have started vomiting and defecating soon after.
This was said to have angered Rebecca, who instead of administering treatment to the child, decided to beat her up.

Sad: 11 year old girl sets on fire passes on

The 11 year old, Ita Bassey- Eno, that was reported a couple of days back to have been set ablaze by her madam for a stealing a piece of meat in, Bode Thomas, Surulere area of Lagos is dead. The girl passes on yesterday after suffering first degree burnt to her body. So sad, and such wicked woman.

Since last year and the better part of this year, the story have been rift that many nollywood stars, who are ambassadors to Glo telecommunication would be dropped and it has now been confirmed!

The likes of Monalisa Chinda, Ramsay Noah, Rita Dominic, Mike Ezerounye, Odunlade Adekola and Uche Jombo have been dropped. The only four nollywood stars on Glo list as ambassadors are, Desmond Elliot, Funke Akindele, Chioma Apotha and Ini Edo.

So surprise that Odunlade Adekola was dropped as an ambassador because, he only got picked not quiet long ago.

 The trial of pro-Amaechi lawmaker, Chidi Lloyd, who brutally attacked his colleague at the Rivers State House Of Assembly, has commenced in Port Harcourt.

This is coming less than a month after the Rivers state House of Assembly witnessed a very rowdy session today for some minutes after two months of adjournment as pro-Governor Rotimi Amaechi legislators battled five renegade lawmakers rooting for the political opponents of the governor.

 Music star, Iyanya Mbuk and Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda have been unveiled as the new ambassadors of Nigeria 100 Centenary Project which is an inter-continental road show set to hold across the world.

Other ambassadors, who have been slated for the project would be reviewed simultanously. Among those to be unveil later are Desmond Elliot, Segun Arinze, Stephanie Okereke- Linus, Jayjay Okocha, Kanu Okocha, Ali Nuhu. Richard  Mofe -Damijo, has also been mentioned to be part of the team.

I was verbally and emotionally abused by my husband- Funke Akindele

 After the interview that Funke Akindele estranged husband, Kehinde Oloyede granted to Encomium Magazine, where he said that he was building a house for the actress before she decided to call it quit in the marriage,  Funke Akindele has responded. The actress in an interview with E-24 revealed how she was emotionally and verbally abused by her husband.

That place is not for me, I have been through hell and back. I was abused emotionally and verbally. Really, I thought we could work things out, when things started two months after the wedding. But, I made up my mind and shut the door of the marriage at him, when the trouble was coming to me too much.

'I stoop to conquer him;, Buried my fame and name to make him my husband, but it did not work. At a point in time, I asked, if it was not the same  man, that was all over me before, we married. He almost got me off my career. He called me severally but I did not pick his calls. When, he realized my silence was tormenting him, he took to facebook, It's alright'. Funke opened up.

'Ask him when he come to my house last, he left me here in my rented apartment with nothing. He will just dash in and dash out'. she continue 'He will get abusive, caustic, anytime we have a misunderstanding and often told me to my face, that he is to his wife in Oshodi. He sent me an SMS, that he has seen a buyer for his house  at Adeniyi Jones for 40million. He asked me, If he should sale it and that if he does, he will buy me a new car and rent me a new apartment.' she says

Why now? I don't need all that. I want my sanity. I respect him to the end but he chose to treat me that way. He said he wanted to clip my wings. So you can see, he does not meant well for me.

Policemen attached to the Badagry Police Division, Lagos State, and some hoodlums have been accused of killing a 25-year-old undergraduate of Delta State University, Ifechukwude Nwainokpor, and his friend, identified simply as Kazeem. An eight-minute video clip of the gruesome killing, which was made available to PUNCH Metro, showed the two victims handcuffed together.
