Bill Gates back as the World's richest person with $72.7 net worth

Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates is back at the top as the World's richest person with a net worth of $72.7. Gates took over the position from Mexican, Carlos Slim, who had held the position as the World's richest person since 2007.

 Bill was able to beat Carlos Slim according to Bloomberg Billionaire Index with an increase of 16%as at the time the report was filled .

Slim dropped from his position due to new law passed by the Mexico's Congress. The law dropped, Slims wealth by 14% which reduced his net worth by $3billion as at the time of filling the report.
