Though an official figures of Nigerians who died at the Mina stampede in Mecca has not been verified but the death toll has been put above 50. Different news organisations have reported different figures in the numbers of death, with some reporting that the numbers of the dead is between 64 to 70 and the injured above 70.
The chairman of the Nigeria's National Hajj Commission, Abdullahi Murhtar has revealed that many are dead in the stampede and many are missing and may probably be dead.
