A former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Slyva, has won the repeat governorship primary in Bayelsa State under All Progressives Congress held in Yenagoa, the state capital, today, September, 30th. Sylva pulled a total of 981 votes out of the 1147 delegates that cast their votes.
It would be recalled the first primary that was held on Sept 22, was cancelled after the primary centre was riddled with violence making Edo State governor, Adam Oshiomhole, to leave heavily protected.
