Rema emerges 'Headies' Next Rated' Artiste at the 2019 Headies' awards

The most awaited musical awards 'The Headies' 2019, the 13th edition has come and gone and there were winners and losers at this years' edition held at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event was hosted by Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime and popular rapper Reminicse.

The Marvin new entry, Rema, won as the ' Next Rated' artist of the year beating the likes of, Joeboy, Fireboy DML, Lyta, Zlatan to win the award.


Also Teni and Burna Boy were the biggest winners of the night with both of them winning 4 awards respectively. Teni clinched the awards of the 'Best Recording of the Year' 'Best Pop Single' 'Headies Viewers' Choice' 'Best Vocal Performance' while Burna Boy walked away with the awards of 'Best Collabo' 'Best Music Video' ' 'Best Song of the year' and 'Artiste of the year' Falz also walk away with 3 awards as the 'Best Rap Single' 'Best Rap Album' ' Album of the Year'
