According to reports, the woman whose state of mind is yet to be known or motive had encouraged her husband to go for a vigil closed to the family home while she stayed with the children.
But immediately her husband left, she was said to have taken her 3 children inside her home claiming it late.
There she stabbed her 6 month old baby boy, her second child a 2 year old and her 3 years-old daughter.
Her husband identified as, Emeka Ajoile came back from the night vigil around 12pm to meet the gory sight of the stabbed children.
The two younger children were already dead while the eldest of the children was still alive and rushed to the hospital for treatment.
There's currently an ongoing investigation to know why she decided to kill her children by the police.
