Foreign Breaking New- Man claims to poison passengers on flight from Hong Kong to the US

A Newark-bound United Airlines flight is carrying a passenger who had to be restrained after claiming that everyone on board had been poisoned.
The suspect was restrained by other passengers on board a 14-hour flight from Hong Kong. There is no evidence that the passengers have been poisoned, Eyewitness Newsreports.
United Airlines Flight 116 is scheduled to land at 2 p.m. at Newark Liberty Airport.
agents responding to the scene are prepared to meet the plane at the airport. Law enforcement officials told the Associated Press that the passenger stood up and made the statement several hours ago and that the flight crew decided to continue on to Newark.
U.S. law enforcement officials have seen a spike in poison-related threats recently.
At least 10 ricin-laced letters have been sent to government officials in recent weeks, including President Barack Obama.
There is no evidence to indicate that the threats are related.

The Secretary-General of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ralph Madu, made this clarification in a response to an enquiry by The PUNCH on Sunday.

He said, “The Catholic Church believes that modern means, including the use of condoms is morally bad because it impedes normal procreation. You can meet with your wife when you do not want children and those periods when the woman is not fertile instead of having to destroy the sperm and all other forms of artificial prevention.

Man drugged and raped a man who called him uncle

A young man Kabiru has alleged that he was raped by one Alhaji Habu a man he once called uncle. Kabiru claimed that he was invited to by Alhaji Habu, (the man seen above lying on hospital bed) to come to his house, where he was offered a cup pf tea. Unknowingly for him, the tea had been poisoned by Habu and while he was weaked Alhaji Habu penetrated him from behind but he was able to regain some of his strenght to fight back with a knife with which he stabbed him (Habu)

While Kabiru (The man in the second picture speaking to newsmen) claimed to have been raped by Alhaji Habu, the later claimed that, Kabiru came to his house in the night to rob him with a knife.

The late Iyaloja General of Nigeria and mother of former Lagos State Governor, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Abibatu Mogaji, has been buried according to Islamic rite.

The late Mogaji who died late yesterday evening at 96 years was buried at the Vualts and Garden Cemetary, Ikoyi, early this morning.

Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, the Iyaloja General of Nigeria and mother of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu the former governor of Lagos State is dead.

She died at the age of 96 years. May her soul rest in peace.

It was a natural birth for Kim K and both mother and child are said to be in great shape. Kanye West was reportedly to have skipped his album listening party last night to be with Kim K during labour.

As earlier reported, Kanye and Kim are expecting a baby Girl.

Kim, who's due date is in five weeks time went into labour friday and was still in labour until the early hours of Saturday. She had earlier announced that she is expecting a baby girl.

Nigerian man to be hanged for drug trafficking in Malaysia

A Nigerian man was sentenced to death by hanging by the High Court here today after being found guilty oftrafficking in 1124.10gms of methamphetamine at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang, two years ago.

Anoliefo Peter Ndubuisi, 36, committed the offence at the airport Customs inspection counter at 4pm on July 30, 2011. Justice Noor Azian Shaari in her judgement on Friday, said Anoliefo’s defence saying that he was not aware of the presence of the drugs inside the 13 bottles of hair cream he was asked to carry by a friend whom he knew for only two days, was not logical.

Deputy public prosecutor Aida Mastura Mohamed Aman called 16 witnesses at the prosecution hearing while counsel James George called only one witness during the defence’s trial.
