Mikel Obi leave Chelsea for Galatasaray, sets to earn N4.42Billion

The story has been on for a couple of days now that Nigerian born Chelsea midfielder, Mikel Obi is set to leave Chelsea for Galatasaray, a Turkish football club.

Many as expressed their opinion why Mikel would leave a high ranking club such as Chelsea for a club in Turkey but the footballer said today that he had asked for advice from former Chelsea mate, Didier Drogba and the latter has told him that Galatasaray is a good football.

'I asked Drogba for advice and he told me that Istanbul is a fantastic city, that Galatasaray is a huge club and that I have to make the move. I have played at Chelsea for a long time and it's now time for me to leave.
'
I'm still only 26 and it's great to receive an offer from a club (Galatasaray) playing Champions League football and doing well in the competition.'

Talks have reached an advanced level between Chelsea and Galatasaray. Chelsea won't make the move difficult and regarding my salary there won't be a problem. All that is left is for the clubs to reach an agreement.'

I know the father of my baby, Says Laide Bakare

The Yoruba actress has been enmeshed in paternity mess with her former husband and the latter has been saying for all to hear thet the baby boy delivered by, Laide a couple of weeks back might be his has he was still married and living with the actress duing the time ofher pregnancy.

Now Laide, who recently held a naming ceremony and gave the little chap her new husband name, Oriowo says she knows the father of her child.

This is just to disabuse the minds of skeptics, as a first step. Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, was duly married to businessman, Mr. Tunde Oriowo a.k.a. ATM. These are pictures from the Nikkah ceremony that was held quietly in Lagos. Also, as the pictures speak, Laide Bakare was carrying Mr. Oriowo's baby at the time.

For the nine months that she was pregnant, during which the Muslim wedding was held, Laide was under the watch and care of no other man but Mr. Oriowo who played well his roles as husband and father.

Rapper Vector goes to war with record label, arrested twice

One of Nigeria's foremost rappers Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector Tha Viper is currently at war with his label, YSG Ent - recently discovered to be a division Young Shall Grow Motors company, led by Obiora Obianodo, (Pictured right) the first son of Chief Vincent Obianodo, the MD of Young Shall Grow Motors Ltd.

The disagreement between Vector and his label started a few months back after the rapper complained about his progress-rate and the label's nonchalant attitude towards his career and simply suggested more professional hands be employed to help his career, which the label took as a threat, and when they refused to heed to his suggestions, Vector hired hands he was paying personally.

MTN Project Fame Allstars Concert

 

There is a change in this year MTN project Fame, has the organisers decided to make a change from the norms. This year, MTN decided to bring together all its superstars and take them on tour of two city which is Calabar and Lagos.

 

Both Lagos and Calabar will be painted Y'ello by MTN allstars from Season 1 to 5. Iyanya the first ever winner of MTN Project Fame was discovered by MTN in Calabar and so Calabar citizen should expect lots of thrills from MTN as the first leg of the tour will start in Calabar.

Former Lagos State Deputy Governor wanted for N130Million Fraud

 

According to daily evening paper, P.M News, Former Lagos State Deputy Gov. Ahlaja Sinatu Ojikutu is wanted for fraud.

Alhaja Sinatu Ojikutu, former deputy governor of Lagos state has been declared wanted by the Police Special Fraud Unit (SFU), in Lagos, over an alleged fraud of N130 million.

Mrs Ngozi Isintume-Agu, DSP, spokesperson of the unit said in a statement that Sinatu was wanted along with her son, Samson Ojikutu, who is now in the United States of America.

“We are investigating a case of obtaining the sum of N130 million by false representation perpetrated by one Alhaja Sinatu Ojikutu and her son Mr Samson Ojikutu.


“Upon a petition from the DIG ‘D’ Department to the Commissioner of Police SFU, the petitioner alleged that in September, 2011, the suspects conspired and sold a parcel of land at Plot 24, Block 4, situated at Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos for the sum of N130 million.

Wizkid invited for questioning at Zone 2 police command

Wizkid was earlier invited alogside his manager Godwin Tom at the Zone 2 police command for questioning over report made by students of the University of Lagos.

According to the students, the singer was payed the sum of N500, 000 to perform May 24 at the event tagged Concert of Life which was held at Unilag Sport Complex but the singer failed to make an appearance and as failed to make a refund.

Starboywas kept at the police station for some hours and was asked to report back to the station next week.

Durella accuses D'banj of stealing his song 'Blame It On The Money'

Yeah this is the latest roforofo fight in the entertainemnt industry right now. Durella who just sign a contract with D'banj's DKN label is accusing the Koko master  of stealing his song 'Blame It On The Money' which he did with his former record label Ikonic record.

About two weeks ago, D'banj released his own version of 'Blame It On the Money' and the sound are said to be the same including the tempo.

Does it mean that the Koko master as ran out of hit songs?
