Lauryn Hill get two weeks to pay back tax debt


R&B legend lauryn Hill is in trouble for tax evasion. The singer might go to jail for two and half years if she didnt pay the sum of $504,000 for tax evasiveness in 2006/2007.

 
Hill, who is a mother of six pleaded guilty to the charges and was given two weeks to raise the money to afford jail. Her lawyer told the court that the singer recently signed a million-dollar recording deal with sony. Her next court appearance is on May 6.
