Two Indian girls, aged 2 and 5 gang-raped in New Delhi

Two Indian girls, aged two and five, have been raped in separate incidents in New Delhi, police say, with at least one confirmed as a gang rape.

The younger child was abducted late on Friday by two men from a religious event in west Delhi's Nangloi area and sexually assaulted before being dumped in a park near her home, police and relatives said.

Pushpendra Kumar, West Delhi police chief, said they found the younger child bleeding profusely several hours after she went missing and that tests showed she had been raped at least once.

Mother of two, plank seller electrocuted on same day in Ketu

There was a sad occurrence at Utuh street, Araromi Quarters in Ketu Area of Lagos State, after two members of the community were electrocuted in broad day light. The victims, Bashirat Rauf, a mother of two and Sodiq Saka, met their untimely fate under the same circumstance.

Bashirat Rauf was said to had rushed out from her apartment when she saw fire burning from a cable in a nearby school.  She reportedly decided to quickly pick her children who were playing outside in order to avoid being caught by the fire when she got electrocuted in the process.

I stole my friend's baby so my lover could pay my bride price- Suspect

Remember we brought you the story of a lady, Jennifer Onyebuchi, who stole her friend's 9-month-old son in the Ajegunle area of Lagos State. And was caught and the baby rescued in Okija, in Anambra State.
Well, the lady whose picture has been made public by the police, have given an unrealistic reason why she stole her friend's son.
According to the 26 year-old suspect , who said she was an orphan, said she stole the baby so that her lover who lives in Okija,  Anambra could pay her bride price. She claimed her lover had insisted she had a baby before he would pay her bride price and she
resulted to stealing the baby to present to her lover as theirs.
