According to the information gathered, the murder of the popular lawyer occurred on Thursday July 3. It was gathered that when the light was taken, Fadipe, had had his son to go and on the generator but a man with a knife attackedthe son and asked to be taken to his father.When they got to the father, the attacker stabbed the lawyer on his neck and back.

The daughter who saw the attack ran out and raised an alarm, alerting the security men who over powered the assailant, who had injured, Fadipe's mother in-law, son and daughter.
Another report however said that the murderer escaped before he could be arrested and know information has been giving for the brutal murder of the Lagos lawyer.
